- CNS - Platform (Elgin A) - Blowout Taskforce - Elgin 22/30c-G4 (C14) HPHT Development well. Worked as part of taskforce to kill and suspend the well.
- CNS - Platform (Elgin A) - Planning - Franklin 29/5b – FIB “Infill” HPHT Development well (March 2012).
- CNS - Elgin Recovery Taskforce – Elgin / Franklin Restart (November – December 2012). Provided technical / risk input on which wells to restart post G4 hydrocarbon release.
- CNS - Suspension / Abandonment - Elgin 22/30c wells G5 / G7 / G9 HPHT Development wells (December 2012 – April 2013). Performed suspension / abandonment operations.
- CNS - Elgin / Franklin “Infill” Well Design – Reviewed previous infill wells (FIA,EIA,EIB) and developed a “second generation” infill well design taking into account the rising pressure transition zone (PTZ) in the chalk.

Of particular note, Oleum Associates undertook the post failure analysis of BP's Marlin deepwater development in the Gulf of Mexico. Working with BP we redesigned the existing six pre-drilled template wells and developed a real-time system to monitor downhole temperature, pressure, annular fluid expansion and associated completion / casing design stress. The system was subsequently implemented on the rig floor to provide an audible alarm. After a number of years of service no similar failures were recorded. Co-authored SPE Paper 79870.
